Questions

Straight answers.

What is Front Desk?

An AI employee Clockworks installs for missed and after-hours calls. Text-back, qualify, book what it can, escalate the rest. Setup + teach. You keep it.

Is this just another answering service?

No. Human virtual receptionists bill minutes or calls forever. Front Desk is one employee installed on your side. Optional managed exists; it is not the default.

Do you lead with Grok Bot?

No. The product is Front Desk by Clockworks. Grok Bot / xAI shows up in how-it-works when we talk about the account you own.

What does the diagnostic include?

Leak math, a live Front Desk seat, and a written plan. You keep the plan even if you never hire us for setup.

Why is the diagnostic paid?

Unpaid audits trained the wrong door: tire-kickers and no skin in the game. A $247 diagnostic keeps it serious and still low-friction for a local shop.

What is setup priced at?

$1,997–$3,500 fixed, scoped from the diagnostic. Quote in writing before build.

Do I own it when you're done?

Yes. Default is handoff. You keep the account and the employee.

What about managed?

Optional $297–$397/mo if you want us tuning. Not required.

What trades do you work with?

Twin Cities plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping. 1–5 truck owner-ops first.

Will customers know it's AI?

Wording is yours. Goal is a fast answer and a clean handoff, not a party trick. We don't coach you to deceive people.

Do I need Jobber or Housecall Pro?

Helpful when you have them. A phone-first shop can still start. We meet you where you are.

Can you also do quote follow-ups and review asks?

Maybe later as an add-on after Front Desk is live. Not a six-SKU menu on day one.

Are there case studies with big numbers?

Not inventing any. Early company. Ask Parker for a live seat in the diagnostic instead.
